A great day!

Today is a great day here.... "Why?" you ask.... Burger King has opened in our town! Ok... i know that may not seem like a big deal..... but when you never get to have a whopper it is a VERY big deal! We are going to go out to lunch there with some American friends to celebrate and toast our fries together!

To celebrate this grand opening (and because I have a ton of pictures that I want to post) I am going to post a random pic!

Breakfast with the King! I wonder if they'll run the same creepy ads over there?

Here's the controversial ad from recent times featuring Sponge Bob in a booty video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nopKDuydRo

And here's just a creepy one "Wake up with the King": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x4_5qoy4oaQ

If it's a "great day" when Burger King opens...what kind of day would it be if Taco Bell opened its doors in your town?

I bet I already know your answer!

Enjoy your whopper!

BK was great! Thankfully - I have not seen any creepy BK ads... I think that if I had I would not have been as excited.... how crazy is that booty video?!?

Jenny - don't even mention TB.... just let me bask in the glory that is the whopper.

It's the little things in life that make a difference. Like the other day I discovered what I assume to be Ireland's first Tim Horton's drive thru. I should say that it is basically a window in a petrol station, but still...not having to exert any physical energy in the aquisition of donuts has got to be good, right?

Is the BK sign written in Irish or English? -Jack

wow... Jack - that is a GREAT question! Unfortunately, it is written in English... There are, however, some fast food places here that have their menus in Irish.
