The Silence after the Holiday...

I can't believe that Christmas is already over... I don't really know where the time has gone. Having said this - we have had a great holiday. Things here are always a lot of fun during the Christmas season. There are a lot of Christmas parties to go to - special plays to see - and Christmas music is sung in the city streets and churches by choirs of kids. Over all - things seem to slow down drastically. All of the clubs and classes stop, and people seem to have a lot more time for family and friends..... ah - what a welcomed time! We had a really special treat this year. We had some guests come and stay with us for a few days! Our good ol' friends R & B came and hung out with us (and are still with us for a few days)! We have had a blast getting to show them our area & catching up on how things are going. Their visit has really been a special Christmas blessing.

The next few weeks will be somewhat quiet around here. Locals usually take this time to visit extended families or have family members come here to visit. As a result it takes awhile for classes and clubs to start back. Dee and I are enjoying the chance to recover from the holidays and work on a few projects that we have needed to catch up on.

More Random Pics...

On the last day that we were in Germany (before we went to the airport) we were able to sneak away from the office for a few moments in a German Christmas market! The smells and sights really put us in the mood for Christmas!
