Look Who Is Coming to Dinner....

Lock up your children... Michael Jackson is moving to Europe! Rumor has it that the pop star is possibly looking at buying an estate in Ireland! Jackson has been spending time in Ireland & France on "personal business" this summer... and he has just recently announced that he will be moving to Europe to make more music... I'll keep my eyes open and let you know if there are any MJ sightings!

Ireland ~ Through Our Eyes ~

Well..... We have a bit of an announcement to make. Dee and I have had a book published. Yep. Ireland - through our eyes - is an eighty page all color hardback book that is a collection of some of our favorite pictures from our first three years in Ireland. We have divided the book into five sections - Ancient Ireland, The Irish, Wildlife, and Fun. The book is currently selling for $35 (plus shipping - note we might could deliver some in person). Summing Up This Summer... (So Far)

My nephew Brandon summed up this summer with one of his last projects of the school year. When given the chance to draw a picture about the upcoming vacation he decided to create the picture below. Now........ keep in mind that he could have shared that his mother was about to have a new sister for him... Or that he was going to Florida this summer... Or even that he was going to get to play a lot of Nintendo... This is what he wanted to share:

World Cup

It is a quiet Saturday morning here in Alabama… I’m watching the England vs. Portugal world cup game. It is a really exciting game to watch… but it makes me miss my friends back in Ireland. I have no doubt that all of my guy friends are huddled around TVs in homes and pubs watching this game. When I left Ireland a few months ago most of my friends still were not sure if they were going to pull for England or not…… after all…. It is England…. But I still think that I would pull for them over any of the other teams still in the cup. Oh… the game is back on… and we are in overtime… I gotta get back to the game!
