Today...
Today is April 19, 2006. As many of you know we are headed back to the states one month from today. Wow… I really can’t believe that it is only a month away! I really don’t know where the time has gone… everyone keeps saying that time goes faster the older that you get…. Could they actually be right? We have a lot to do before we head out. To be honest with you the idea of making a list of all that we have to do is a bit scary. My plan is (we will see if it actually works out this way or not) not to leave everything until the last min. I want to start working on getting everything together, cleaned, and completed long before we actually have to go.
Dee and I have been on the road this past week. We had a big ol’ meeting with our work colleagues in Germany… As I write this we are on an Aer Lingus flight back to our home. The meetings were a lot of fun… and I really feel blessed to work with so many fun people. We spent many nights staying up talking or playing “Irish Uno” and “Nertz”. We office out of our house, and I think that it is good for us to step back from time to time and examine how things are going. This week was a good time for me personally… to examine my own heart…. All that I have learned over these past three years… and to count all of my blessings…. (I’ll write more about that later). We didn't do any sightseeing while there - but I did get a gnome. I won the little guy in a charity auction. Any ideas for a name?
